India’s current active caseload stands at 4,23,127, with a decline of 55,755 such cases, the ministry said. Active cases at present constitute 0.99% of the total cases in the country.
The recovery rate in India stands at 97.82%, the bulletin also stated. With 82,817 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the total number of people, who have recuperated from Covid-19 so far has reached 4,17,60,458.
The government said that the daily positivity rate has been recorded at 2.23%, and the weekly positivity rate at 3.63%.
Meanwhile, a total of 75.30 crore tests for Covid detection have been conducted in the country so far, with 12,29,536 having been done in the last 24 hours, as per the ministry.
A total of 173.42 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far across India under the nationwide vaccination drive.
