Hijab row reaches UP | India News – Times of India


NEW DELHI: Protests over wearing of hijab in educational institutions have now reached Uttar Pradesh.
A group of over two dozen men reached the Dharma Samaj College in Aligarh on Monday and handed a memorandum to officials seeking a complete ban on the hijab on its compound. They had saffron shawls around their necks, said the college’s chief proctor Mukesh Bharadwaj.
