Delhi HC refuses to interfere in CHRI FCRA registration issue | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court refused to interfere with the Union home ministry’s decision to suspend the FCRA registration of Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI), saying the government had given a reasoned order while following the process laid down in FCRA.
Justice V K Rao noted that “reasons have been given in the order” adding that “the process of inquiry was started in the year 2017. So, it was not a case where neither any inquiry was initiated nor any show cause notice was issued”
