NEW DELHI: With barely four days to go for third phase of assembly elections, the convoy of Union minister Satya Pal Singh Baghel was attacked and pelted with stones in Karhal area of UP’s Mainpuri on Tuesday evening.
Baghel is in the fray on a BJP ticket from Karhal against SP president Akhilesh Yadav. Some villagers threw stones and vandalised a vehicle with sticks but the minister escaped unhurt, said ADG, law and order, Prashant Kumar.
