Man killed in UP bus fire was Toshiba staffer | India News – Times of India

AGRA: Police have finally identified the badly burnt body of a man who lost his life three days ago while trying to escape from a UP Roadways bus that caught fire in Mathura as that of 53-year-old Shailesh Upadhyaya, a general manager at Toshiba.
Upadhyaya was stuck in a window as he desperately tried to wriggle out even as the bus burst into flames. Miraculously, 70 other passengers who made a mad dash to escape managed to save their lives.
SP (city) MP Singh told TOI that Upadhyaya’s body was identified by his brother from the ‘Om’ locket around his neck. His phone’s last location was also traced to the Mathura bus stand where the mishap took place on Monday.
