Two NCC cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University have made the state proud by being selected in the national program organized in New Delhi on the occasion of Republic Day. The cadets, Anmol Pari Mishra and Kajal Sharma, are among the 2,274 cadets of National Cadet Corps (NCC) who will participate in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) to be held in Delhi from January 1 to January 31, 2024.
Cadet Anmol Pari Mishra has been selected for the prestigious Best Cadet award, which is given to the most outstanding cadet in each directorate. She will receive the award from the Prime Minister of India on January 28, 2024, at the Prime Minister’s Rally. Cadet Kajal Sharma has been selected for the Path of Duty, which is a special contingent of cadets who will march on Rajpath on January 26, 2024, during the Republic Day Parade.
The two cadets are among the 907 girls from across the country who will participate in the RDC, which is the culmination of the NCC training activities. The RDC showcases the discipline, skills, and talents of the cadets, who undergo rigorous training and selection process at various levels. The RDC also provides an opportunity for the cadets to interact with each other and learn about the cultural diversity and unity of the nation.
The cadets of Jamshedpur Women’s University have expressed their excitement and gratitude for being selected in the national program. They have also thanked their NCC officers, instructors, and mentors for their guidance and support. They have said that they will do their best to represent their state and university at the national level and bring laurels to them.
