The meeting is also being held to work together with other countries in the region to provide assistance to citizens and prevent the spread of tension.
Today is the 11th day of war between Israel and Hamas. This war may escalate further. The death toll in Israel has increased to 1400. More than 2800 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza. The total number of dead on both sides has reached approximately 4200.

Amid rising tensions, the Pentagon is increasing the deployment of US troops in the Middle East to prevent war in the region. US Defense Secretary Lloyd J. Austin said the United States has ordered the deployment of the Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier, along with a second aircraft carrier, Eisenhower, to the eastern Mediterranean to deal with attacks against Israel.
The US Air Force is also increasing the deployment of F-16, A-10 and F-15E ground-based combat aircraft squadrons in the Persian Gulf region.
