The Telugu film ‘Saindhav’, starring Venkatesh Daggubati, is set for its digital premiere on Amazon Prime on February 9. The action thriller, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, grossed Rs 15 crore at the box office. The film was initially said to be out on the digital platform in March, but it was released on the OTT platform on the 28th day after its release date in theaters.

The film features Venkatesh as Saiko (Saindhav Koneru), a former gangster who has left his violent past behind and is now a loving father and husband. However, he is forced to return to his old ways when his daughter is diagnosed with a rare disease and needs a huge amount of money for her treatment. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Shraddha Srinath, Arya, Andrea Jeremiah, and Ruhani Sharma in pivotal roles. The music of the film is composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, who praised Venkatesh’s performance and the action sequences, but criticized the weak plot and the lack of originality. The film was also compared to the 2018 Korean film ‘A Hard Day’, which had a similar premise and storyline.

The makers of the film have not made any official announcement about the OTT release yet, but the news has been confirmed by various sources and media outlets. The film is expected to reach a wider audience through the digital platform and give a boost to Venkatesh’s career. The actor is currently working on his next film, ‘F3’, which is a sequel to the 2019 comedy ‘F2: Fun and Frustration.’
