The second-seeded duo defeated the Dutch pair, Sander Arends and Robin Haase, 7-5, 6-4. They will face Germany’s Hendrik Jebens and Constantin Frantzen in the next round.
However, India’s Sumit Nagal, partnering with Serbia’s Dusan Lajovic, lost in straight sets to Spain’s Pedro Martinez and Jaume Munar, 6-2, 6-2. Earlier, Sumit Nagal had exited the Men’s Singles competition, losing to Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic.
