S.D.S.M. School for Excellence Celebrates Annual Prize Night

S.D.S.M. School for Excellence recently hosted its Annual Prize Night in the school auditorium on July 16, 2024. The event aimed to recognize and felicitate the outstanding achievements of its students. The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Ujjal Chakraborti, MD, JCAPCPL, Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, and Special Guest Mrs. Moitri Chakraborti.

The evening commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a prayer song by the school choir and a captivating dance performance by the students. Principal Mrs. Moushumi Das presented the Annual Report, highlighting the session’s accomplishments and acknowledging the efforts of teachers and students.

The students were awarded trophies and certificates under various categories, including perseverance, all-rounder, and academics. The Chief Guest emphasized the importance of safety, culture, and discipline in our lifestyle and encouraged students to prioritize community service and environmental sustainability.

– Dr. U. S. Singh Memorial Trophy (Humanities Stream): SMITA KUMARI, Std.XI-E
– Ranbir Singh Memorial Trophy: HARSHIT KUMAR, Std.IX-C
– K. D. Tewary Memorial Trophy: NAIVEDH PRASAD, Std.V-B, and AARADHYA AGARWAL, Std.V-C

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, the school song, and the National Anthem. The event celebrated the students’ achievements and motivated them to strive for excellence.
