CM Tamang Extends Warm Welcome, Seeks Support for Advancing State’s Tourism and Allied Sectors
New Delhi, July 31, 2024: Sikkim’s Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay paid a courtesy visit to new Governor, Om Prakash Mathur at his official residence in New Delhi the preceding day. This was a more important meeting since the Chief Minister welcomed the new Governor while at the same time asking for his assistance in the development of the state.

Speaking on behalf of the people and the Government of Sikkim, Chief Minister Tamang extended his compliments to the Governor designate Mathur and parliamentarian Durga Pradhan for selecting Sikkim to serve the people of Sikkim. To this the Chief Minister replied in positive terms, while the Governor reaffirmed his great value and his readiness to inform the state of advice and other useful support from time to time.
The meeting turned out to be productive and isic, both leaders emphasizing on the development of the tourism and allied sectors in Sikkim and well being of which the people of Sikkim. This case, Chief Minister has shown confidence on new Governor for the state and eagerly waiting for cooperation for development of the state.
