Patna, Bihar – The state of Bihar is experiencing a significant rise in dengue cases, with 114 new cases confirmed in the last 24 hours. Patna, the state capital, has reported a record 70 new patients, bringing the total number of confirmed dengue cases in the state to 2,093.
In addition to the dengue outbreak, nine new cases of Chikungunya have been confirmed in Patna over the past two days, raising concerns among health officials and residents.
Authorities are urging the public to take preventive measures, such as using mosquito repellents, wearing long-sleeved clothing, and ensuring there is no stagnant water around their homes, to curb the spread of these mosquito-borne diseases.
