Jamshedpur, September 24, 2024 – Tata Steel has marked a significant leap in its commitment to sports development by unveiling a state-of-the-art chess training facility at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. The facility, inaugurated by Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President of Corporate Services, Tata Steel, alongside chess Grand Master Pravin Thipsay, represents a dedication to nurturing local talent and fostering chess excellence.
Key Features of the Facility:

Expanded Space: The training center now spans 150 square meters, divided into zones for beginners and advanced players.

Climate Control: Air conditioning units have been installed to ensure a comfortable environment conducive to focused training.

Office and Library: A 30 square meter space dedicated to administrative tasks and chess research has been maintained.
