The Maharashtra government has introduced the Ladla Bhai Yojana, a scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to unemployed youth and students in the state. This initiative follows the success of the Ladli Behan Yojana and is designed to address the growing issue of unemployment among young men.

Key Features of Ladla Bhai Yojana

Under the Ladla Bhai Yojana, eligible individuals can receive up to Rs 10,000 per month. The financial aid is structured based on educational qualifications:

  • Class 12 graduates: Rs 6,000 per month
  • Diploma holders: Rs 8,000 per month
  • Graduates: Rs 10,000 per month

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Ladla Bhai Yojana, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Between 18 to 35 years
  • Residency: Must be a resident of Maharashtra
  • Education: Minimum qualification of passing class 12. Additionally, those with ITI/Diploma/Graduation/Post Graduation are also eligible.

Conditions for Industries and Establishments

Industries and establishments participating in the scheme must:

  • Operate in Maharashtra
  • Be registered on the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation web portal
  • Have been established for at least three years
  • Be registered with EPF, ESIC, GST, DPIT, and Udyog Aadhar, and possess a corporate certificate.

Internship Requirement

Participants are required to complete a six-month internship, during which they will receive a stipend based on their educational qualifications:

  • Class 12 graduates: Rs 6,000 per month
  • Diploma holders: Rs 8,000 per month
  • Graduates/Post Graduates: Rs 10,000 per month.

This scheme is applicable to both private and government establishments, aiming to provide substantial support to Maharashtra’s unemployed youth.
