France aims to admit 30,000 Indian students by 2030

France has taken a new initiative to encourage Indian students and alumni studying in France. It aims to promote academic excellence, cultural understanding and long-lasting friendship between the two countries. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently visited France as the chief guest on the Bastille Day of France. An official release from the French Embassy said that President Emmanuel Macron has announced to facilitate 30,000 students from India to study in France by the year 2030.

It provides an opportunity to Indian students pursuing post-graduation in France to work and explore professional options in France during a two-year post-study work visa, the release said.
