Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan challenges his arrest in Toshakhana case in Islamabad High Court

Jailed former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan today challenged his arrest in the Toshakhana case in the Islamabad High Court. The petition states that the trial court’s judgment in the Toshakhana case is against the law and should be declared illegal.

Imran Khan was on Saturday taken into custody and taken to Attock Jail after he was found guilty by the district and sessions court in the Toshakhana case. The court sentenced him to three years imprisonment and imposed a fine of one lakh Pakistani rupees.
