Jamshedpur, Jharkhand – The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand chapter recently organized a session on cloud technology, themed “Accelerate, Innovate and Expand Securely,” which brought together professional leaders from the industry to deliberate on emerging technologies and their impact on cloud services.
The session featured eminent speakers from Oracle, who shared their insights on understanding cloud technology and its potential applications. Mr. Diloo Parikh, Chairman, CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council, emphasized India’s rapid advancement in the digital landscape, driven by technological progress, supportive government policies, and a flourishing startup ecosystem.
Industry experts highlighted the pivotal role of cloud computing in shaping India’s digital future, with the global industry valued at $371 billion and poised to surpass $832 billion by 2025. The session focused on the transformation of industries through cloud technology, enabling growth, innovation, and secure AI utilization.
The event also highlighted the benefits of cloud technology for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which account for 99% of India’s 6.4 crore MSMEs. Cloud technology offers unparalleled agility, stability, and scalability, empowering MSMEs to leverage IT and digitalization for business enhancement without significant upfront capital investment.
