Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Installs New President, Vows to Serve Humanity

 

The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur held its 29th Installation ceremony at Hotel Udupi, marking a new chapter in its journey. The global organization, celebrating its 100th year, has over 1,20,000 members across 100 countries and 4000 clubs.

District Chairman 2024-25 Alakananda Bakshi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Outgoing President Archana Shekar handed over the reins to incoming President Sarika Singh, who vowed to work tirelessly for the betterment of society.

The new team, comprising Club Vice President Babita Sharma, Secretary Agnes Boyle, Treasurer Jyoti Bhagat, Editor Raksha Makati, and ISO Bidya Tiwari, took charge. The club aligns with the international theme “Heartbeat for Humanity” and will focus on cervical cancer vaccination, environmental conservation, supporting old age citizens, literacy, and other social causes.

The event was attended by esteemed guests, including presidents and secretaries of other Inner Wheel Clubs. The program concluded with a lunch, marking the beginning of a new era for the Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur.
