The objective of the forest clean-up event was to address the growing problem of plastic waste in the wildlife sanctuary, a designated “No Polythene” zone. Volunteers from Roadmeltsas [Jamshedpalli Ballet Club] gathered at the sanctuary premises for a flag-hoisting ceremony, led by Mr. Yadnesh Chandra, followed by a cleaning activity that included garbage collection and other initiatives.
The event was organized by Roadmeltsas (Jamshedpalli Ballet Club), a group of motorcycle enthusiasts active since 2008, who have been organizing “Ride with Papas” on every Independence Day and June 7th. This year, Mr. Anand Sharma, Moderator of Roadmeltsa (Jamshedpal Ballet Club), and Mr. Dhananjay Mahato, Senior Motorcyclist, led the team in their selfless efforts towards a better tomorrow.
The forest clean-up initiative demonstrated the community’s commitment to preserving and restoring their beloved green spaces. The event served as a reminder of the importance of collective action in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainability.
