Sonari Police Station Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervor
Jamshedpur- On August 15, 2024, Sonari Police Station celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The national flag was hoisted by In-charge Kumar Saryu Anand in the police station courtyard, symbolizing pride and honor for the nation.
The event commemorated the sacrifices of India’s freedom fighters and pledged to make India a world leader and prosperous nation again. All officers and members of the Sonari Police Station Peace Committee were present, including Secretary cum Advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu.

The occasion also recognized In-charge Kumar Saryu Anand’s exceptional leadership in solving a recent robbery case at Malu Brothers Jewellery shop within 72 hours. The Peace Committee honored him with a bouquet and shawl, acknowledging his efficient and loyal service.
The celebration included flag-hoisting at three TOPs in the Sonari Police Station area and the Anti-Corruption Bureau premises. Sweets and laddus were distributed among children and attendees, spreading joy and patriotism.
The event showcased the police station’s commitment to serving the community and upholding the nation’s values.
