As part of a special drive to ensure compliance with the Motor Vehicles Act and a Supreme Court order, the police have stripped around 800 vehicles of their tinted glasses and compounded them. Round-the-clock checks are being conducted at various Nakas specifically set up for this purpose. This initiative aims to enhance road safety and prevent crimes, reflecting the district police\’s commitment to maintaining law and order. Violators of this prohibition will face penalties as outlined in the legal framework.
