In a commendable initiative towards ensuring a safe and healthy future for the next generation, BJP leader and patron of social organization Koshish Ek Muskaan Laane Ki, Shiv Shankar Singh, led an intensive plantation drive in the premises of the Army Camp in Sonari, Jamshedpur. The drive aimed to promote environmental protection and conservation, and was carried out with the cooperation of army soldiers.
The plantation drive saw the planting of a variety of fruit-bearing, medicinal, and dense shady plants, which will not only provide shade and beauty to the area but also contribute to the overall well-being of the environment. The army soldiers pledged to take regular care of the plants until they grow, ensuring their survival and longevity.
Shiv Shankar Singh emphasized the importance of environmental protection and conservation, stating, “Protection and promotion of the environment is the responsibility of every person. Let us all create such opportunities and fulfill our social duty by planting a large number of trees.” He thanked the army soldiers for their cooperation in the natural work and encouraged others to follow suit.
