Jamshedpur, August 28, 2024: The three-day tournament, held at Armoury Ground and Tinplate Sports Complex, witnessed 270 players from 19 units of Tata Steel participating with full enthusiasm. Merlin Ferdos Ankelsaria, Head of Tata Steel Corporate Communication, graced the event as the Chief Guest.

The Shared Services team displayed exceptional skill and determination, ultimately claiming the top spot. The Steel Manufacturing team put up a strong fight, securing the runners-up position, while Tata Steel Kalinganagar took home the second runners-up title.

The tournament provided a platform for employees to showcase their sporting talents, promote solidarity, and foster team spirit. It also highlighted Tata Steel’s commitment to encouraging sports and healthy competition among its workforce.

Reportedly, the event proved to be an excellent opportunity for employees to hone their sporting skills and participate in a competitive environment.
