Netaji Subhash Hospital in Adityapur Achieves Breakthrough in Affordable Hip Replacement Surgery

Adityapur, October 25, 2024 – In a remarkable advancement in medical care affordability, Netaji Subhash Super Multi Specialty Medical College Hospital in Adityapur has successfully conducted a hip replacement surgery at a significantly reduced cost. A 32-year-old woman from Jamshedpur, who faced severe hip pain, underwent the procedure which traditionally could cost between Rs 2.5 to 3 lakh, for just Rs 1.5 lakh at this newly inaugurated hospital.

The surgery, performed by Dr. Ravi Kaushal, an ortho surgeon who recently joined the hospital, marks not only a medical success but also sets a precedent for cost-effective healthcare. Previously at Tata Main Hospital and Manipal Tata Medical College, Dr. Kaushal’s expertise has now contributed to making such surgeries accessible to a broader demographic.

Chairman Madan Mohan Singh of the Netaji Subhash Group praised the team for their efforts, emphasizing the hospital’s commitment to serving patients efficiently. “This achievement showcases our dedication to providing high-quality medical care at a fraction of the cost, making it possible for everyone, regardless of economic background, to receive necessary treatments,” said Singh.

This success story from Netaji Subhash Hospital highlights a growing trend towards reducing healthcare costs without compromising on quality. The hospital, with its 650 beds and free OPD services, has quickly become a beacon of hope for those who might otherwise be unable to afford critical medical procedures.
