Fresh Snow Blocks Key Mountain Road BRO Team Works Hard to Restore Traffic
The Border Roads Organisation’s 122 RCC has begun clearing snow at Zojila Pass once more. Fresh snowfall had covered the area and stopped vehicles from passing. Now the team is back at work to open the Srinagar–Leh National Highway soon.
This high pass often gets heavy snow in winter. The road is the main link between Srinagar and Leh. When it closes, people face trouble traveling and getting daily supplies. The 122 RCC workers are using machines and tools to push the snow aside and make the path safe.
They work in very cold weather and difficult ground. Their quick action helps keep the highway usable for cars, trucks, and local residents. Officials say traffic should start moving again in the coming days once the snow is fully cleared.
