New Delhi: Sudan’s Foreign Minister Mohieldin Salim Ahmed Ibrahim has reached India. He came here for the 2nd India-Arab Foreign Ministers’ Meeting. The meeting will take place on January 31 in New Delhi. This is the first time India is hosting this important gathering.

India and the United Arab Emirates are co-chairing the talks. Foreign ministers from many Arab countries will join. The goal is to make ties stronger in trade, health, education, and other areas. People-to-people contacts will also grow.

For India and Sudan, this visit matters a lot. Both nations share old bonds. Last December, they held talks in Sudan’s capital Juba to discuss training, trade, and health help. The new meeting in Delhi will build on that good work.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs welcomed the minister warmly. A spokesperson said the visit will make the friendship between ordinary Indians and Sudanese people even closer.

This gathering shows India wants to work more closely with Arab nations. It comes after the first such meeting years ago. Officials hope for new ideas on energy, jobs, and culture exchange. Everyone sees it as a good step forward for peace and growth in the region.
