Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire to premiere on Netflix tomorrow

The blockbuster movie Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is all set to stream on Netflix from tomorrow, January 20. The movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, has been a huge hit at the box office, grossing over Rs 700 crore worldwide.

Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire is an action-packed drama that revolves around the rivalry between two powerful gangsters, Khansaar (Prabhas) and Varadharaja Mannar (Prithviraj Sukumaran). The movie also features Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and others in pivotal roles. The movie has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike for its high-octane action sequences, stunning visuals, and stellar performances.

The movie was released in theatres on December 22, 2023, in four languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The movie has broken several records and has become one of the highest-grossing movies of 2023. The movie has also won several awards and accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu.

Netflix announced the digital premiere of the movie on its social media platforms today, January 19. The movie is the first part of a two-part series, with the second part titled Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam. The second part is expected to go on floors in March 2024 and release in 2025. The second part will reportedly feature Akhil Akkineni in a key role, along with Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
