Bihar Educators Hail Union Budget 2024-25, Say it Will Boost Nalanda University’s Legacy
Patna, July 25: Various heads of higher learning establishments in Bihar have lauded the Union Budget 2024-25 on education-related provisions saying that it will be highly beneficial to them.
The Executive of Nalanda University, Interim Vice Chancellor Professor Abhay Kumar Singh held the enabling budget for Nalanda University and Rajgir development as well as tourism corridors in Gaya. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the grant and said more such funds will appropriately fit the vision of the Prime Minister of the university.
Likewise, speaking to The Times of India, Professor Ajay Kumar Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Patna University maintained that budgetary provisions made for students and youths will provide the fillip to employment market.
The educators think that the provisions regarding the budget will rebuild the tradition of Nalanda University and give benefits to the educational sector in Bihar.
