Himachal Pradesh Government Empowers Women Through Schemes and Events
Chief Parliamentary Secretary (Public Works, Health and Family Welfare and Information and Public Relations Department) Sanjay Awasthi said that the state government is committed to reach various schemes to women standing at the last end. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the Alankar Mahotsav organized in Kunihar for women self-help groups of 56 gram panchayats of Kunihar block of Arki assembly constituency today.
Sanjay Awasthi said that the state government is working in a planned manner to strengthen the rural and state economy through women empowerment. He said that while maximum participation of women is being ensured at all levels in the state, the development and economic needs of women are being met through women-centric schemes.
The Chief Parliamentary Secretary said that the main objective of Alankar Mahotsav is to enhance the hidden talents of women of rural environment, strengthen their economy and provide them a strong platform. He said that the objective of self-reliance of family and society can be fulfilled by making women self-reliant and self-sufficient.
