Kulgam, 08 September – In preparation for the upcoming Assembly Elections 2024, a comprehensive one-day training session for Micro Observers was held at the Conference Hall in Kulgam. Organized by the Deputy District Election Authority (DEA) and supervised by Deputy District Election Officer Bilal Ahmad Kamgar, the session aimed to equip Micro Observers with the essential skills and knowledge required to effectively monitor polling stations and ensure the integrity of the electoral process.

The training session brought together key election officials, stakeholders, and Micro Observers to discuss strategies and best practices for maintaining transparency and fairness during the elections. Deputy District Election Officer Kamgar emphasized the crucial role of Micro Observers in safeguarding the democratic process and highlighted their significant contribution to maintaining the credibility of the elections.

District Level Master Trainer (DLMT) Khurshid Ahmad led the training, focusing on enhancing coordination among various departments and agencies involved in the election process. This coordination is vital for streamlining operations and ensuring the smooth conduct of elections in Kulgam.

The session not only aimed to enhance the capacity of Micro Observers but also underscored the commitment of election authorities to conduct free and fair elections in Kulgam. With a strong emphasis on transparency and accountability, the training laid the groundwork for a well-prepared team of Micro Observers ready to fulfill their crucial role in the electoral process.
