A Grand Show at Kartavya Path
New Delhi came alive on January 26 as India marked its 77th Republic Day. The main event was the big parade at Kartavya Path, where our armed forces showed off their strength and skills. It was a day full of energy, with soldiers marching in perfect steps and planes zooming overhead.
The parade started with groups of soldiers from the army, navy, and air force walking proudly. They moved together like one team, showing how well-trained they are. People in the crowd cheered as they passed by, waving flags and feeling a sense of unity. This part really highlighted how our forces are ready to protect the country on land and sea.
Then came the exciting air show. Fighter jets flew in amazing patterns, leaving trails of smoke in the national colors. Helicopters joined in too, displaying quick moves that left everyone in awe. It was a clear sign of our strength in the skies, and even in newer areas like cyber security and space.
What stood out most was the focus on made-in-India weapons and tools. Tanks, missiles, and other gear rolled down the path, all built by our own experts. This showed how far we’ve come in creating our own defence items, reducing the need to buy from others. It made everyone feel proud of our progress.
The whole event was a reminder of India’s growth and readiness. From young kids to elders, folks watched with smiles, knowing our nation is strong and united. Republic Day isn’t just a holiday; it’s a celebration of what we can achieve together.
