Jagannath Ji, or Lord Jagannath, is an important deity of worship in the state of Odisha in India. He is believed to be an avatar of Lord Vishnu like Balabhadra and Subhadra, his brothers. Jagannath Ji is worshipped as Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe and the temple of Jagannath is at Puri Odisha and is one of the four dhaams. He was famous for his wooden images and was worshipped fervently during the car festival – the Rath Yatra.
