Jamshedpur, September 14, 2024 – The three-day technical festival ‘Tech Route 2.0’ at Srinath University concluded today, marking a successful celebration of technology and innovation. The event, which began on September 11, 2024, featured a variety of competitions aimed at promoting technological skills and creativity among students.

The festival was graced by the presence of Dr. Ajay Kumar, Congress Working Committee in-charge and former IPS officer, whose motivational speech uplifted the spirits of the students. Dr. Kumar emphasized the importance of discipline and regular study, cautioning against the excessive use of social media. He stated, “In today’s era, excessive use of social media can become a hindrance in the development of youth as it unnecessarily tires the mind. On the contrary, if the youth make regular study and self-study their habit while being punctual, the doors of success will automatically open.”

Organized by the School of Engineering and School of IT, Tech Route 2.0 saw participation from students of various prestigious schools and colleges in Jamshedpur and Adityapur. The event included over 15 activities such as robotic war, quiz, designing, e-games, puzzle solving, photography, and coding, providing students with a platform to showcase their talents.

Dr. Kumar also encouraged students to read books outside their syllabus and to gain experience through free internships. “When you have skills, job opportunities will knock at your door themselves,” he advised.

The festival aimed not only to highlight technical talent but also to inspire students towards discipline, innovation, and self-development. Participants learned valuable life skills such as teamwork, leadership, and time management.

The event concluded with the awarding of certificates, trophies, and monetary prizes to the winners, while all participants received e-certificates. Shashikant Singh, Head of the School of Engineering, delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the successful event to a close.
