Dehradun, August 2024 – In a remarkable achievement, the Dehradun Police’s Cyber Crime Cell has recovered 101 lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners. The recovered phones, valued at approximately Rs 16 lakh, belonged to individuals from various states, including Uttarakhand.

The recovery effort was initiated after the Cyber Crime Cell received complaints of lost mobile phones between January 1, 2024, and July 17, 2024. Through diligent surveillance, the team successfully traced and recovered the lost devices.

SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh praised the efforts of the Cyber Crime Cell, stating, “The recovery of 101 lost mobile phones is a significant achievement, and we are committed to reuniting people with their lost belongings.”

This initiative demonstrates the Dehradun Police’s dedication to addressing public concerns and ensuring the safe return of lost property.
