Khelo India Dus Ka Dum tournament for women athletes begins today

Khelo India Dus Ka Dum tournament begins today. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Anurag Singh Thakur will be present at the opening ceremony at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is organizing this tournament to mark the International Women’s Day celebrations. This tournament will run till 31 March. About 15 thousand women athletes of the country will participate in this competition. The competition consists of 10 sports. The objective of this tournament is to provide a platform to women athletes who are unable to participate in national or state level competitions.
