Thousands of Scouts from all over the world are being evacuated from their camps to safer places in view of the possibility of a severe typhoon in South Korea. The scouts were participating in the World Scouts Jamboree, which began last week in Buan, on South Korea’s southwest coast. More than one thousand vehicles are being used to remove 37 thousand scouts.

Strong winds and rain are expected due to the effect of Cyclone Khanoon. For more than a week, the typhoon has brought heavy rains and damaged houses to the southwestern islands of Japan. This morning the typhoon was located about 350 kilometers from Kagoshima.
