Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches Giridih and Ranchi

The Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a nationwide campaign to spread awareness about the development initiatives of the Central Government, reached Anta Bangla in Giridih district and Nagari block in Ranchi district today. The yatra, which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 1, 2024, aims to mobilize the masses to join the vision of making India a self-reliant and developed nation by the year 2047, the 100th anniversary of independence.

The yatra was welcomed by a large number of people, including BJP workers, who had joined the campaign on the appeal of the Prime Minister. The yatra consisted of a chariot, which displayed the information about the various public welfare schemes run by the government, such as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana.

The yatra also featured cultural programs, speeches, and interactions with the beneficiaries of the schemes. The beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which provides affordable housing to the poor, shared their stories of how the scheme had transformed their lives and given them dignity and security. They expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Central Government for fulfilling their dream of owning a house.

The yatra also witnessed the people taking a pledge to support the Prime Minister’s vision of making India a self-reliant and developed nation by the year 2047. They vowed to work hard, follow the rules, pay taxes, conserve resources, protect the environment, and contribute to the nation’s progress.

The yatra will continue to cover the various districts and blocks of Jharkhand in the coming days, and will culminate in a grand rally in Ranchi on January 26, 2024, the Republic Day.
