April 15, 2024 – In a shocking incident, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s Bandra residence became the target of gunfire early Sunday morning. Mumbai Police have confirmed that two unidentified gunmen fired shots outside the actor’s home, Galaxy Apartments.
The incident occurred at approximately 4:51 AM when the assailants, who were on a motorcycle, fired four rounds at the building’s wall and gate before fleeing the scene. The police have launched a massive search operation, deploying at least 15 units to locate and apprehend the gunmen.
Salman Khan and his family were present in the house during the incident, but no injuries have been reported. The police are investigating the involvement of individuals linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, as the actor had previously been identified as a top target by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) due to the 1998 black buck hunting incident.
Following a threat call last year, Salman Khan’s security status was upgraded to Y+. The Mumbai Police are analyzing CCTV footage and have seized DVRs from cameras outside Khan’s residence to aid in their investigation.
