Vietnam PM Pham Minh Chinh Arrives in India for 3-Day State Visit
The Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh arrived in New Delhi for a three day state visit with the sole purpose of bolstering the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Vietnam and India. He is usually attended by ministers, deputy ministers, as well as other business personalities.
On the ministry’s level, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of External Affairs Greg Behlol was present to welcome him; similarly, at the state level, the Union Minister Pabitra Margherita officially welcomed him at the airport. This visit has come a long way in taking SCA partnership between India and Vietnam forward taking into consideration the civilizational bonds that are coupled with the existing friendship.

Prime Minister Chinh will meet side by side with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi; the latter will invite him to a lunch. He will also pay a courtesy call on the President of the India Republic Droupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. Prime Minister of the said country shall be receptioned by India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.
The Ministry of External Affairs underlined that India regards Vietnam as one of the important countries in the paradigm and practice of its Act East Policy and Indo-Pacific idea. During this visit, both sides are also expected to advance the tactical cooperation on various levels as well as deepen their all-round strategic partnership.
