Indian Athletes Eye More Medals at Paris Olympics: Manu Bhaker, Nishant Dev, and Others in Action Today
Indian athletes are looking forward to another eventful day at Paris Olympics as they have fixed several events spanning through different domains. Other promising sportswoman who is due to features in the final events is Manu Bhaker who clinched two bronze medals, will compete in ladies 25 meters pistol shoot event in a bid to make her third medal.
In 71kg boxing for men, Nishant Dev will be up against Marco Alonso Verde Alvarez of Mexico in the quarterfinal bout and the expression of India yet another medal. Deepika Kumari of India will participate in the women’s Individual competition and will face Michelle Kroppen of Germany in the round of sixteen, while the another woman archer of India Bhajan Kaur will be up against Diananda Choirunisa of Indonesia in the competition.
In golf, Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar are scheduled to play the third round in the Albatros course of Le Golf National near Paris. In the meantime, they have Indian sailors Nethra Kumanan and Vishnu Saravanan for the Women’s Dinghv and Men’s Dinghv categories, respectively.
Entailing multiple Indian athletes in today’s competition spectators are expecting the country to gain more medals in the Paris Olympics.
