Jamshedpur, – Srinath University proudly commenced its Induction Week, welcoming new students across all schools with a series of insightful and inspiring sessions designed to prepare them for their academic journeys ahead.
The School of Commerce and Management began their week with an engaging session on Company Secretaryship, featuring distinguished speakers such as CS Ankit Singh, Chairman of the Jamshedpur Chapter, Mr. Surojit Bhumij, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, CS Ankit Mazumdar, a practicing Company Secretary, and Mr. Rajeev Ranjan. These industry experts provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the Company Secretary (CS) course, offering guidance on how to pursue it alongside their degree programs. They also shared their personal experiences, motivating students to explore the vast career opportunities in the field of Company Secretaryship.
The School of Engineering kicked off their Induction Week with a session led by Mr. Dipesh Agarwal, a respected member of the Rajyog Research Foundation. Mr. Agarwal introduced students to powerful techniques aimed at developing a positive mindset, including concepts such as Pause for Peace, Tolerance and Suppression, Healthy Routine Practices, Practical Exercises, and Real-Life Case Studies. This session was instrumental in setting a positive tone for the week, equipping students with the mental tools needed for both academic and personal success.
In a separate session, Mr. Devashish Ghosh from the Centre for Innovation Research and Technology, E-Lyceum, provided engineering students with valuable insights into the latest technological innovations. Mr. Ghosh’s expertise helped students understand how these advancements can be applied across various fields, laying a strong foundation for their future careers in technology.
The day 1 of the Induction Week also featured Mr. Narendra Kumar, Site Leader for Tata Cummins Limited, Jamshedpur, and a key figure in the Nurturing Brilliance Team. Mr. Kumar delivered an inspiring talk on the industry’s expectations, the essential skills needed to succeed, and the transition from campus to corporate life. He also offered guidance on how students can access scholarships through Tata Cummins, providing them with additional opportunities to further their education.
The induction programs across other departments, including the School of Pharmacy, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, the School of Fine Arts, and the School of Social Sciences, also began today, each tailored to introduce new students to their specific fields of study and set them on a path toward academic and professional success.
