Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Mr. Nakul Kamani, President of the School Managing Committee, followed by a theme-based program “Viksit Bharat”.
Students presented a ‘Viksit’ walk, showcasing India’s remarkable achievements in science, technology, sports, and medicine. The event highlighted the progress made by Indians in various fields.
The Literacy Programme for Women Support Staff, launched by NHES students in 2022 as part of Amrit Mahotsav, was handed over to the new Student Council leaders, who pledged to continue the initiative.
The Interact Club of NHES took up an initiative, “Each one, Teach one”, distributing notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers to Women support staff.
Mr. Nakul Kamani addressed the students, inspiring them with words of encouragement. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a message to students to act as responsible citizens and future leaders of the nation.
The event showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing responsible and patriotic citizens.
