Four Arrested in Motorcycle Theft Case in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 19, 2024 – In a significant breakthrough, the Mango Police, under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police City and Deputy Superintendent of Police, successfully apprehended four individuals involved in a series of motorcycle thefts. The arrests were made in the early hours of August 19, 2024, following a tip-off from the Senior Superintendent of Police.

Incident Details:

• Time and Date: Around 02:35 AM on the night of August 18/19, 2024.
• Location: Near Prakash School Turning Point Forest, Jamshedpur.
• Information Received: Four suspicious boys on two motorcycles were spotted moving from Mango Chowk towards NH33, allegedly planning to commit a crime.

Police Action:

• Immediate Response: Mango Police, under the monitoring of senior officers, set up a checkpoint near Prakash School Turning Point Forest.
• Chase and Arrest: Upon spotting the police, the suspects attempted to flee but were chased and apprehended.
• Confession: The arrested individuals confessed to stealing motorcycles from various areas, including Mango and Sakchi, and selling them.
