Bettiah Police in West Champaran, Bihar, is making good progress with Operation Muskan, a drive started by the Bihar Police Headquarters in Patna. They are finding lost and stolen mobile phones from different parts of the district and giving them back to the real owners.
On December 30, in Bettiah, the police shared that during this month alone, they got back 52 such phones. These are worth around 10 lakh rupees. All of them are being handed over to the people who lost them, and you can see the joy on their faces.
Dr. Shaurya Suman, the SSP of Bettiah, said in a statement, “We’re following the orders from headquarters, and this operation is helping a lot. People are getting their phones back, which makes everyone happy.”
So far, under this operation, the Bettiah team has recovered a total of 365 mobiles, adding up to about 52.30 lakh rupees in value. The work is going on, and they plan to keep it up to find more.
This effort is bringing relief to many families who thought their phones were gone for good. It’s a nice way to end the year, showing how police work can make a difference in everyday life.
