Former wrestler Babita Phogat included in monitoring committee panel constituted to probe allegations against WFI

Former wrestler Babita Phogat has been included in the panel of inspection committee constituted to probe the allegations against Wrestling Federation of India – WFI. She has been included in the panel of the Oversight Committee constituted by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs to oversee the day-to-day administration of the Wrestling Federation of India. The committee is also probing allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment, intimidation, financial irregularities and administrative lapses by the Wrestling Federation of India. Babita Phogat is the sixth member of this inspection committee. The committee is headed by Khel Ratna awardee MC Mary Kom.
