The New Ekta Club is set to organize its 20th blood donation camp on August 15, along with a free health checkup camp. The event aims to promote blood donation and save lives. A meeting was held among club members in the Baghbeda community hall to ensure the success of the camp, with VBDA chief Sunil Mukherjee present.

The club’s founder, late Nandkishore Barnwal, started the annual blood donation camp in 1996, and it has continued every year since. This year’s camp will be held at Rishi Bhawan in Jugsalai, with a target of collecting 500 units of blood. The club aims to dispel misconceptions about blood donation and highlight its importance in saving lives.
In addition to the blood donation camp, a painting competition will be held among school children on August 14, and patriotic songs and cultural programs will be organized on August 15.
