A bizarre incident has come to light in Jamshedpur, where a man, Md. Bhadab, staged a fake assassination attempt on himself to pressurize a land seller to return his money. The incident occurred on the night of August 9, 2024, near Azad Basti Muslim Cemetery, Road No. 14, under Olidih Police Station.
Bhadab, who had suffered losses in a land deal, hired a pistol from his friend and, with the help of Alim Hussain Ansari, fired a shot at his own car, a Swift Dzire (JH05DE 9484), shattering the glass. He then filed a complaint with the police, alleging an unknown criminal had tried to kill him.
