Vehicle Checking Campaign Launched in District to Ensure Road Safety and Compliance with Traffic Rules
In a bid to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic rules, a vehicle checking campaign has been launched in the district under the instructions of the District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner. The campaign, which will run for three days, aims to crack down on vehicles that violate traffic norms and do not have the necessary documents.
A team of officials, led by ADM Law and Order, District Transport Officer, Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Ghatshila and Dhalbhum, SDPO Ghatshila, and DSP of the concerned area, are conducting the intensive checking campaign at various places and major intersections within the district.
The campaign focuses on checking vehicle documents such as fitness, registration, permit, and tax, as well as ensuring compliance with traffic rules. The officials are also verifying the authenticity of vehicle documents and taking action against those found violating traffic norms.
The vehicle checking campaign is a part of the district administration’s efforts to reduce road accidents and ensure safe passage for all road users. The campaign aims to create awareness among vehicle owners and drivers about the importance of following traffic rules and regulations.
