The government has called an all-party meeting today ahead of the budget session of Parliament starting tomorrow. This meeting will be held at 12 noon in the Parliament House complex. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Ministers and leaders of political parties representing both Houses of Parliament will participate in it. In the meeting, the government will seek cooperation of all political parties to ensure smooth functioning of both Houses of Parliament during the session.

The budget session of Parliament will begin on January 31. At the beginning of the session, President Daupardi Murmu will address the joint sitting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha at 11 am in the Central Hall. The Economic Survey will be tabled in both the Houses on the first day of the session. The Union Budget for the year 2023-24 will be presented on February 1.
