Voting begins for second and final phase of urban local body elections in 38 districts of Uttar Pradesh

Polling for the second and final phase of urban local body elections in Uttar Pradesh is being held today amid tight security. The polling, which started at 7 in the morning, will continue till 6 in the evening. In this phase, voting is being held in 38 districts of Aligarh, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Basti, Chitrakoot, Kanpur and Mirzapur mandals. In the first phase, polling was held in 37 districts on May 4. The counting of votes will take place on Saturday.
